Giving Opportunities The Baltimore Polytechnic Institute Foundation is responsible for raising, investing, and disbursing funds to support the school, its mission, students, and staff. It is a 501(C)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. All gifts are acknowledged and IRS letters are provided for all gifts of $250 or more. The principle giving opportunities are:
- Scholarship Fund: Lumsden General Scholarships (restricted to college scholarships) begins with each spring newsletter. Click here to make a donation!
- Campaign for Poly: Honoring the Past; Investing in the Future (five-year fundraising campaign) will increase the Poly Foundation endowment in support of Poly's student achievement, student enrichment, and teacher excellence. - Class gifts and projects are usually associated with reunion activities. These gifts cannot be made online.
Please remember to check with your employer to see if your donation qualifies for matching gift funds.
Everyone who has made a donation during the fiscal year is mentioned in the fall newsletter donors list. Those who give $500 in one year or who accumulate $1000 in donations over several years are designated as members of the Parrot Club.
